Jessica Ngan – Viola

Profile

Jessica is a versatile violist and passionate musician, balancing her career as a dental nurse with her love for music. She is the violist of the V2R ensemble and currently serves as the Principal Violist in the Modést Orchestra. Jessica is also an active member of The Orchestra Project and PitTan & Co. Her musical journey includes being an integral part of prestigious groups such as the Combined Schools Orchestra, Symphonia Jubilate, the Sydney Youth Orchestra, and the Australian Medical Student Orchestra.

She has shared these experiences under the tutelage of Jane Hazelwood, Roger Benedict and Andrew Jezek. Jessica’s notable experiences include participating in the Raising Stars Program at the Conservatorium of Music and the AYO National Music Camp in 2022. A former Associate Principal Violist with the NSW Youth Orchestra and Principal Violist of Symphonia Jubilate, Jessica has earned multiple accolades including ist place in the St. George String Eisteddfod and the Sydney Eisteddfod.

She has also achieved the AmusA and LmusA with Distinction for Viola.

Jessica continues to pursue her passion in music with different styles of music genres.
